Producer Robin Jay said, “While the movie is filled with outstanding experts, our fictional storyline called for one special actress. There was no doubt in my mind that Lindsey Lauer would be perfect for the role of ‘Anne,’ Michael’s fiancée. Her portrayal of a frustrated girlfriend is believable and she lights up the screen with her beauty and grace.”
Lindsey’s resume is impressive. After studying drama at Santa Monica College, she was accepted into the GSA Conservatoire in London,England. Her specialty is musical theater; Lindsey not only has a tremendous mezzo-soprano voice, but is also highly skilled in dance, including ballet, jazz, ballroom, contemporary, salsa, tango, and tap.
While at GSA Conservatoire, she performed in several plays in the West End – London’s version of NYC’s Broadway Theater District – including “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” at the Jermyne Street Theater and “Sex, Chips, and Rock n’ Roll” at the Royal Exchange Theater.
As Anne in “The Keeper of the Keys”, Lindsey brings a realistic appreciation of all things positive. Lindsey is actually a fan of personal development books and movies. In the movie, she is relaxed and natural. Lindsey’s appearance lends a powerful energy to the storyline and the troubled relationship between Anne and Michael.
Lindsey currently lives in Los Angeles and continues to work in the film industry.
